Our program at the Samaritan Inn is to help the residents deal with the issues which have caused their addictive behaviors. We use several things to accomplish this.
1. Daily Group Sessions: Facilitate disciples, teaches, and helps with the house administration. Group sessions are used to teach accountability, responsibility, conflict resolution and communication skills.
2. 12-Step Program: A mandatory twelve step group is held at the "Inn" each week. The residents are also encouraged to be involved in additional outside twelve-step groups.
3. Spiritual Growth: One evening per week, a home group is held at the house and is open to the community. Sundays the residents are required to attend one service at the church of their choice.
4. Re-integration in the community: The residents retake responsibility for their lives by returning to the work force or taking further job training.
