In the nineteen sixties until the early nineteen seventies, Ernie Mueller was a heroin addict with no hope and no future. He was convinced he would be an addict, in and out of prison, for the rest of is life. However, in 1972, Ernie accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, and two years later was delivered from his addiction. For the next ten years Ernie was discipled in the context of a local church. In 1984, Jesus launched Ernie into a street ministry with heroin addicts in Vancouver, BC, which in 1985 developed into a prison ministry, and in 1997 into a drug and alcohol recovery house ministry which we named the Samaritan Inn. Many people have a desire to help these needy people who are hopelessly addicted to drugs and alcohol, but few know how. Ernie Mueller not only has the desire, but has been uniquely equipped to do so, by successfully leaving his drug addictive lifestyle over 35 years ago and submitting himself to the leaders of a local church. In 2009 The Lord gave Ernie another vision to help churches across Canada start their own drug and alcohol recovery houses. Ernie knows how as he has successfully started and directed the Samaritan Inn for the last twelve years. Ernie’s book is available for a $6 donation we will sent you a copy of one mans personal journey form addict to salvation to ministry. |
